Whitehall Guesthouse is an historic guesthouse specifically renovated for Group Accommodation and is located in a residential area in the seaside town of Queenscliff, Victoria. Whitehall is ideal for Families and friends, but equally it is a great option for conferencing and work groups, and any community groups.
Whitehall can accommodate groups of up to 75 people but is also very comfortable for smaller groups of 15 or more. Your group has exclusive use of the building for the duration of your stay.
The historic Guesthouse was built in1927 during the famous paddle-steamer era (It was the last grand Guesthouse built in Queenscliff). It has been restored specifically for the use of group accommodation for family/friends, work or any other group.
This unique property offers the space and freedom for small groups of 10 or more (to larger groups of up to 75 people), to enjoy each others company, and to explore the special township of Queenscliff.
The town is surrounded by water and is basically an island connected by a narrow strip of land to the Bellarine Peninsula. It is the gateway to Port Phillip Bay, with the famous narrow entrance to the Bay called the Rip, with Point Nepean and Portsea/Sorrento on the other side to the entrance. It enjoys spectacular views of the entrance with plenty of boating activity including shipping and cruise liners, and an abundance of beaches walks, and the new Marina, with waterside cafe’s and restaurants.
Ideal accommodation for the Blues Train events as it is located just up the road from the historic steam train station.
Catering options include bringing your own food,shopping when you get here, there is terrific fresh produce available locally, organising in house catering or eating out at local restaurants, cafes, and hotels, there is plenty of excellent choices!.
A large commercial kitchen and dishwasher (domestic friendly) makes catering very easy and light work!, even for a large group. Many of our regular groups say they come just for the convenience and ease of our dishwasher making the chore simple.
